My work lives at the intersection of art, music, storytelling, creativity, personal transformation and self-discovery. I create original visual art and photography, write and release original music, develop courses and creative resources, write books, and facilitate experiences designed to help people reconnect with their own worth, voice, joy and freedom.
A painting, a song, a book, a course or a conversation can all become a threshold — an invitation to see something differently, remember something true about yourself, and choose what comes next.
Creativity, truth, reclamation, freedom, joy and aliveness.
Meet Debby
Music found me when I was seven years old in Kentucky, quite by accident, or perhaps by divine calling. Creativity has been the thread running through my life ever since — even during the years when I lost my connection to it.
I spent 33 years as a musician, singer and leader before burnout led me to walk away from music entirely. What followed was a much longer journey: leaving the high-control religious world in which I was raised, questioning beliefs and identities I had inherited, raising three daughters, returning to school as an adult, earning two degrees and becoming an arts educator.
I stayed away from music for 17 years. And then it found me again.
Today I create across mediums: visual art, photography, music, writing, teaching and transformational experiences. I am also a Reiki Master Teacher, and I bring an intuitive, deeply human approach to the spaces I facilitate.
My work isn't about becoming a better version of who someone else thinks you should be. It's about uncovering what is already yours: your voice, creativity, worth, joy, curiosity, your right to take up space, and your capacity to choose.
I don't believe we are here simply to endure our lives. I believe we are here to inhabit them.

Forthcoming memoir
The Perry Parallax
A life shaped by music, belief, burnout, and the long journey back to self. Raised within a high-control religious world in Kentucky, Debby discovered an extraordinary connection to music at seven and eventually became a singer, musician and leader — only to walk away at the height of that life.
The book follows what came after: leaving the belief system that had shaped her, questioning inherited stories, and slowly disentangling identity, worth, creativity and calling from expectation and conditioning.
At its heart, it is the story of reclaiming a creative gift she once believed she had lost — and discovering that coming back to it meant coming back to herself.
